German Day at the University of Wisconsin-Madison is now in its 30th year. Typically anywhere from 500 to 700 students taking German at middle schools and high schools from across the state give their best effort and have fun competing in spelling, poetry, Pictionary, charades, skits, music, and poster events. Each year features a different theme, which is reflected in students’ skits and posters.
