On March 5th Danish writer, existentialist, philosopher, and playwright Svend Åge Madsen will give a talk called “Narrating Humanity.”

In his numerous works, he has created an intricate web of characters, places, and events that are interwoven and supplement each other in a grand story about existence and humanity. Humor, magical realism/fantasy, and science also characterize his works. Many have been translated, such as See the Light of Day, Vice and Virtue in the Middle Time, and Narrating the People.
