About Me: I received Ph.D. from Faculty of Politics and Social Sciences, Gazi University Ankara, Turkey in 2010. Dissertation Title: “Religious Literature and the Transformation of Religious Identity in Turkey: A Study of Pious Women Writers” and my Master degree from Public Administration Institute for Turkey and the Middle East (TODAIE, Ankara, Turkey) in 1999. Title of M.P.A. Thesis: “Yurt Dışında Yaşayan Türkler’in Eğitim Sorunları ve Çözüm Önerileri” (The Educational Problems of Turks Living Abroad and Proposed Solutions). I graduated from Department of Turkish Language and Literature, 19 Mayıs University (Samsun, Turkey) in 1990. I have been working at University of Wisconsin –Madison since 2008. I teach Azerbaijani and Turkish. I have taught Literatures of Muslim Societies and Introduction to the Middle East. I was director of Turkish Language Program & Lecturer for 2nd year Turkish, Arabic, Persian and Turkish Language Immersion Institute (APTLII), University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012, 2011 and 2010. I worked as adviser for Political Affairs and Media Relations to Mehmet Emin Murat Bilgiç, Member of Parliament in the Turkish Grand National Assembly in 2006–2007. I also worked as a specialist, Central Directorate of the Commission on Curriculum Preparation, Ministry of Education (Ankara).
