About: Janelle is a first year graduate student in the German PhD program. Her current research interests include the pedagogical advantages of short-form print and digital media usage in language classrooms, second language acquisition, and German heritage speakers in German language classrooms. When she’s not studying, you can find her baking and spending time outdoors with her family.
