About: Ida teaches first- through fourth-semester Norwegian language and supervises the graduate TA in Norwegian. She also teaches courses on Nordic literature and culture, including courses on the Nordic child and animals in Nordic literature and film. Her research interests include Nordic children’s literature and childhood studies, animal studies, Nordic film, and the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL).
