Area(s) of Study: German philosophy and theology, Friedrich Nietzsche, Martin Buber, the mysteries of life and death

About: Daniel is a first-year grad student interested in modern German philosophy and theology, particularly the works of Friedrich Nietzsche and Martin Buber. Both the Protestant and Jewish religious traditions interest him. Outside of the German context, he also harbors an interest in Jacques Ellul, Emil Cioran, and Lev Shestov.
