About:
Aleksandr Perchatkin is a graduate student in the Slavic program. He graduated with honors in Humanities from NYU Shanghai, where he also minored in Russian & Slavic Studies and Global China Studies. He has studied at the University of Amsterdam and NYU New York as an exchange student. His academic and professional interests include environmental humanities and the development of environmental policies in the Soviet Union, as well as literary exchanges between the USSR and Latin America and the traditions of Soviet literary criticism.
