The Wisconsin Introductions to Scandinavia (WITS) series was created to provide quality textbooks and translations pertaining to Scandinavian culture for use in American classrooms. Distinguished scholars and translators from all over the world have contributed to this series, which was overseen by faculty members of the Scandinavian Department at the University of Wisconsin.
