“Rusalko,” a modern fairytale: A conversation with Kerstin Hensel

Join Kerstin Hensel and the students in German 285 for a virtual conversation and reading from her new children’s book, “Rusalko”. “Rusalko” tells the story of a young merperson who struggles with their gender identity and their place in the world (not to mention a vengeful sea god). Kerstin will talk with us about her first children’s book and answer questions. This event is free and open to the public (students are especially encouraged to attend!) The conversation will take place in German.
