About Me: I received my MA in August 2016 from the Ohio State University's Department of Germanic Languages and Literatures. I spent the 2014-2015 academic year at the Freie Universität Berlin, where I took courses focusing on the instruction of German as a foreign language. Coursework in the final year of my MA focused on applying SLA research to classroom instruction, and my MA project involved the use of pragmatics instruction to develop learners' intercultural competence.
