About Me: I am a German Studies graduate student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in the German, Nordic, and Slavic Department. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a BA in 2018, I spent a year as a Fulbright English Language Assistant in Austria. My previous research involved linguistic analysis of German and Russian news media. Currently, my academic interests include Cold War history, East German literature, German-Russian relations, and language in the Stasi files.
