Research/Language Interests: Eighteenth- and nineteenth-century German literature, particularly narrative prose and historically based gender analysis.
About: Professor Kaiser retired after 30 years on the faculty. Her publications and teaching in her two main fields of German Studies and Gender and Women’s Studies centered on her research interests as well as literary, cultural, and feminist theory. She received a university award for distinguished teaching and also served in various administrative and leadership positions in both of her departments.
